Sample Answer
Well, I believe that during my elementary education. I was able to develop social, cognitive, emotional and physical skills with the help of my mentors, and one of those educators who influenced me the most was my honourable Madam principal, named Mrs. Usha Jain. She not only exhibited effective leadership qualities that also adapted herself to new trends of teaching for holistic development of teachers as well as students.
Infact, I know her personally as she was close friend of my mother. Despite this fact, she never showed favouritism towards me. The reason why i admired her the most is based on the moral values and life lessons i imbibed from her. I still vividly remember, Once a standard-wide poetry competition was held in my 6th grade, and I participated in it.
At that moment, I was ecstatic as well as suffering from nerves. As soon as i was up on the stage, watching 250 pairs of eyes looking at me, I froze. Forget about reciting it, I was shivering on the stage. Fortunately, my principal was sitting just behind me. She came forward and kept a hand on my shoulder to comfort me and murmured ‘you can do it’ in my ears.
It is then, I learned that all one needs is a bit of encouragement. After that, I just rocked the recital competition also. Another commendable trait of her personality was she never practiced corporal punishment any undisciplined action misdemeanor of any child, She always preferred doing practical counselling with a student.
Even i also have experienced counselling session with her when i was caught making comic drawing and remarks on one of my teachers. Her words were so influencial that i decided to use my writing skills only for constructive purposes after that. Overall, I would say that she is a prominent figure i have ever met. Although i am not in touch with her, yet the values she had inculcated in me have always helped me in every sphere of my life.
