I was late by 20 minutes near the crossing where there was a huge traffic jam. I was already on time from my home but due to elections in the city, there was too much rush and I was stuck for nearly an hour.
I got frustrated and I did nothing but wait and tried to call my friends and get information about alternate routes. one of my friends helped me with an alternative way to reach the examination centre.
I was irritated and then I started to listen to music and I tried to keep my mind stress-free so that I could sit fresh in the exam and give my best. It was an extremely irritating experience for me. I felt down in the dumps because there was a lot of pollution thereby many vehicles.
After half an hour, I got a sense of relief and I was able to reach my school but was late by 20 minutes. When I reached there, I had to apologize to my teacher and told the whole situation to him. He understood me and permitted me to go to the class for the examination. So, this was the time when I got late for my exam.

Introduction
Well, every person should value time because time and tide wait for none.
However, in certain situations, we are unable to be on time and here I’d like to talk about one such time. I vividly remember it is a matter last year when my bosom friend Sophie, arranged a reunion party a day before returning to Canada for all of our school cronies.
I was tickled pink to be a part of this event because it had been ages since we all met. So I departed home early and after disembarking from the bus I was waiting for the cab to reach the party venue. Meanwhile, in front of my eyes, a tragedy took place in which an old person collided with a speedy car.
He was severely injured and fainted on the spot. His condition made me petrified so at the drop of a hat I took him to the hospital. I deposited a fee to admit him and fulfilled other formalities. Moreover, there was no one with him hence I decided to stay there. My friends were calling me but being anxious I was unable to answer.
Finally, at around 11 pm, he gained consciousness and I took a sigh of relief. He was grateful to me from the core of his heart for saving him and gave me countless blessings. Then his family came there and I reached the party hall.
At that time, my friends were coming out of the restaurant and they were freaked out to see me but when I narrated the whole incident to them they were pacified. I felt blue because due to being late I missed a boat to have a whale of a time with my buddies but still saving someone’s life filled me with contentment.
