Well, it’s a fascinating thing that the globe has diverse cultures and traditions. Therefore, we get a lot of things to learn and adopt from world cultural diversity. Being an avid learner i always try to earn something from different sources.
Here i would love to talk about an extremely interesting thing that i have learnt from a foreign culture, that is doing a pat-time job while pursuing university education.
I learnt it a couple of years ago when i went to Delhi to enjoy holidays with my family. There i met an American citizen, he told me that in his country youngsters do part-time jobs along with studying in the university. By doing so they help their parents by financing their education and get work experience, killing two birds with one stone. Moreover, i gained a boatload of information regarding it from internet, i watched videos of different students who are doing the same and knew their experiences.
As for why i learned it, firstly i thought as i m a student, adapting this technique would benefit me a lot. I can earn extra money as well as can get knowledge, experience of working in a particular field. Apart from this, most importantly, it’s true that the reason of success of developed country like, USA is it’s highly productive population. So according to me, it was a wonderful thing to learn and apply to make a small contribution to nation building.
Last but not least, this practice will make the youngsters more productive which would directly benefit our nation. So this was an amazing thing i have learned from a foreign culture.

- How do you learn celebrations that are related to your culture?
ANSWER – firstly we are familiar with numerous celebrations related to our culture because our parents and grandparents tell us about them and of course we celebrate them with our near and dear ones. Moreover, internet “an ocean of knowledge” gives us a lot of knowledge about our culture and celebrations.
2. What do you think are common celebrations all over the world?
ANSWER – There are plethora of multitude of celebrations which are celebrated in every nook and corner of the world – new year, Christmas, mother’s day, father’s day, valentine’s day, to name but a few.
3. Do you think we should follow our culture and traditions and why?
ANSWER – Unquestionably it’s extremely crucial to follow our culture and traditions, because it will be an excellent way to keep them alive forever. Apart from this, if we stick to our roots, our upcoming generations also will do the same and thus will never forget our traditions and rituals.
4. How do you react to spending a lot of money on celebrations?
ANSWER – According to my perspective, it’s always imprudent to squander a lot of money on celebrations, because i reckon that it’s more important to celebrate any event from inside rather than outside, we should focus on spreading love, happiness by wishing others and spending quality time with them on these wonderful occasions.
