Well, transportation plays an important role in everyone’s life in order to move from one location to another. Although I have traveled to a number of locations throughout my life, like hill stations, temples, historical attractions, and many more,. But here I would like to talk about a particular trip I was looking forward to, but it was unfortunately delayed.
I vividly remember that it happened last year when i had summer vacation. Actually, my father planned a family trip to Shimla. We were looking forward to this location due to various reasons. The prominent one is that I have heard that this location is surrounded by greenery and snow, which allow people to engage in a variety of activities, so we were really excited for it. Moreover, it was our first family trip, therefore it was the best way to strengthen the bond and spend some quality time together as we always stay busy in our hectic schedule.
Prior one day of departure, we had packed everything. If I talk about the reasons why it had to be delayed, there are mainly two reasons. The prominent one is that in the morning, my elder sister got a call from her office for an emergency case, as she is a doctor by profession. Another one is that we heard the news that the weather in Shimla is not good or safe due to the storm.
Then, my father decided to go for a trip after 15 days. When it comes to my feelings after such a delay, to be honest, at first I felt down in the dumps as I was the most excited for this trip, but later my father made me understand that whatever happens, happens for good. Then, I understood and started working on my school project. All in all, this was the trip I intended to enjoy but postponed.

Answer – In my nation, there are three basic modes of transportation available: land, air, and water. Among them, land transport is the most popular as it is cheap as well as accessible by everyone. If people love to go a shorter distance then they prefer to use the buses because it helps them reach their destination within the specified time. On the other hand, if people want to travel a long distance, they prefer railways.

Answer – Government can do a number of activities to improve transportation in my nation. The first thing is that authorities can focus on the infrastructure of the roads because they need regular maintenance in order to move from one location to another. Moreover, the frequency of the transport should be increased as population is increasing day by day. Apart from that, they should also reduce the fare of the transport so it would be helpful for everyone to use it.
Q3. Do you think travelling was better in it is now?
Answer – No, I don’t think so, because in the past, there were fewer vehicles on the road and people had to wait for approximately 2 to 3 hours to travel from one place to another, but now there are multiple vehicles available that come on a frequent basis, within a gap of 1 to 10 minutes.
Q4. Do you think that tourist attractions help people learn about new cultures?
Answer – Without a doubt, tourist attractions help people learn about new cultures because these are the places where people come from different places from different backgrounds, even from different countries. When people meet, they love to exchange their cultures with one another and get to know about the habits and lifestyles of the people living in different locations.
Q5. What difficulties do people often face when travelling?
Answer – There are many difficulties that are faced by people when traveling. First and foremost is the delay of the transport because sometimes the buses or other transports get cancelled due to traffic, accidents, weather conditions, or some technical issues. Apart from that, people also face some communication barriers whenever they travel from one place to another.
Q6. Do you think technology makes travelling more difficult?
Answer – No, not at all. In fact, technology has made traveling easier as compared to the previous time, as these days people have the convenience of using Google Maps on their mobile phones. They just need to put the location, it will tell them the exact path to follow. There are some applications available that inform people about travel timings and departures, which help them save time and check the traffic in order to reach their destination.
