Well we are living in this highly competitive era where leadership skills plays an extremely important role in one’s life. I have come across numerous individuals in my life who have proved to be great leaders. But here i am interested to talk about a person who is none other than my bosom friend and possesses excellent leadership qualities. His name is Gurkirat.
We are born and brought up in the same locality. He lives a stone’s throw away from my house. I have observed him since schooling days that he presents himself fearlessly and his ideas are always outstanding. Moreover during school or college days he participated in countless debate competitions and always performed stunningly. He had been a captain of different teams in school and a president in college. He was renowned among students for him effective leadership.
Presently he is running an organization which works for the impoverished and unprivileged people. His work is appreciated by everyone. Moving ahead talking about his behavior he is warm-hearted and a sociable personality. Besides he has an adaptive nature. Explaining further there are several reasons why I opine that he is a good leader. Firstly he has a great deal of dedication, determination and passion for his work. Secondly as he is an eloquent speaker, this enables him convey his ideas effectively.
Furthermore he is an active listener, respects others’ opinions which makes everyone like to conversant with him and seek advices. On the top of it I reckon that he is a great leader since he has an optimistic attitude towards everything. He actively engages in encouraging others and helping them achieve their goals. So, this is the person who is a great leader according to me.
