Well, giving and receiving gifts shows care and love, and affection towards people. It is usual in my nation to give flowers to their bosom friends and loved ones. I received numerous presents in my life such as chocolates, clothes, teddy bears, pens, etc. But today I am going to talk about an occasion when my bosom friend gave me a bouquet.
When I was in X standard, an art competition was held in our school and I took part in it. The theme of the art competition was organized on the same day of the competition. So, I prepared myself for it. As I am fond of different kinds of art such as western art, portraits, sketches, and traditional paintings.
There were a total of 75 participants and I wanted to win that competition. In addition to it, I put my all efforts and dedication and tried to do my best. After making my art, I submitted it to my teachers. After 2 hours, my result came and I got the second position in that art competition. At that time, a group of my friends gave me a huge bouquet of flowers.
It contains my favourite flowers such as red and white roses. That was looking too expensive than local flowers. When I came back home, I kept it in my drawing room. Whenever I see those flowers, I get emotional. I felt really glad when I received flowers from them because my friends play a part and parcel role in my life.
I am too attached to them. I have also made many flower paintings with poster colors and acrylic and gifted them to my friends and relatives, they also liked them very much. Everyone in my circle knows that I love drawing and painting. So, this was the competition where I received a bouquet.
