Well, doing activities in a group enhances our cooperation, harmony, and team spirit skills. I have had numerous memories with my friends since my childhood. Nowadays, I must say that being a student I have a hectic schedule so I hardly get time for my enjoyment.

However, today I want to shed some light on my trip where I went with my friends. We were 12 members in the group. Actually, after my X standard, my friends and I had some free time. We made a plan to go to Chandigarh for enjoyment and fun. I went there with my friends and explored new places. I got Impressed by the beauty of Chandigarh. It is the first planned city of India after independence.

This city is extremely famous. It is also the first smoke-free city in the country. There are a plethora of tourist attractions over there. Initially, we went to the “Sukhna Lake” where we did boating. While boating, we also observed the surroundings and peaceful environment. We also clicked so many pictures over there and later on I put that on social media.

Introduction

Well, I enjoy working together with my family as well as kith and kins

Here I’d like to talk about a time when I planned a surprise with my brother. I decided to do it along with him because I know the significance of teamwork and I couldn’t do it aloof. I vividly remember that it is a matter of last year when I celebrated Mother’s Day to express gratitude to my mother.

Fortunately, on that day our parents went to the neighbourhood to attend a religious ceremony and we were on the seventh sky at that time because there was no one to interrupt us and to spill the beans. My mother is fond of homemade stuff so I decided to prepare everything at home.

Initially, I found it a herculean task because we had just 2 hours. However, my brother who is a smart cookie distributed tasks evenly. Being adept at cooking, I baked cake and prepared snacks whereas my brother provided all the ingredients. Besides this, being an art lover he made some decorative items for adornment purposes.

We strained every nerve and finally, due to our co-ordination and teamwork we did all the preparations on time. When our mother stepped into the house she was startled to see decorations and when she saw the cake kept in lobby her joy knew no bounds .she cuddled us and thanked us with watery eyes to make her feel exceptional. After that she sliced the cake that was delectable and praised us to the skies. We both smiled proudly and felt glad. It was one of the best experiences of working in a team and I relished it a lot.

Introduction

In my life, I have done different types of work with groups of people that helped me to develop my social interaction, skill, knowledge as well as resources.

Today I would like to talk about a time when I participated in a project to distribute warm clothing items in my local community. It was happened last winter when I wanted to help needy people. I joined an organization as a volunteer. The project was organized by a non-profit organization called (Shokti Welfare ).Their aimed to help low-income families and homeless individuals during the cold winter months.

I did this project with a group of volunteers who were also passionate about helping people in need. We were a diverse group of people, including students, professionals, and retirees. Some of us had previous experience with volunteer work, while others were new to it. The project took us about two weeks to complete. We started by reaching out door to door and asking for donations of warm clothing items, such as jackets, sweaters, hats, gloves, and socks. We also collected monetary donations to purchase new items as needed.

Once we had enough clothing items, we sorted and organized them by size, gender, and age group. Next, we set up a distribution center in a local community center. We advertised the event on social media and through word-of-mouth, encouraging people to come and pick up warm clothing items for themselves and their families. On distribution day, we arrived early in the morning to set up the center. We welcomed people warmly and helped them find clothing items that fit them well and were suitable for their needs.

The project was a great success. We were able to distribute warm clothing items to over 100 families and individuals in our local community. We received a lot of positive feedback and appreciation from the people we helped. It was a rewarding experience and it reminded me of the importance of helping others, especially during difficult times.

Conclusion

Overall, It was the time when I did something for my community and I really proud of it.
