Well gifts are a token of love. From my salad days to these hectic days I have received numerous wonderful gifts from my loved ones on different occasions. Here I am interested to talk about a time when someone gave me something I was severely in need of. It was a scooty. I got to it a couple of years back from my parents.
Actually my family members threw a party at home on my natal day. All my kith and kin were invited on that day. In the evening after cutting the cake and receiving plenty of presents from my near and dear ones I was taken to the backyard of my house by my parents. There I saw a brand-new bike. I was left not only speechless but also in tears of happiness by this fabulous gift.

During that time I was in a dire need of it as I was a college student and I had to go to college by bus. Nine times out of ten I used to reach the college late, due to which my study was getting affected negatively. Apart from this most of my friends had their own two-wheeles and I used to feel deprived. Having received the gift I urgently needed, I felt immensely glad. It benefitted me in many ways.
Firstly I was able to save my precious time which I started to use in a constructive way. Before it I used to waste a great deal of time by traveling by bus. Additionally, from that time onwards I never missed my class and any other special occasions. Last but not least my confidence grew considerably since my scooty boosted my status among my friends.

No doubt, it has become trend to exchange gifts on several occasions, and one of the best ways to show feeling towards others. However, today I would like to talk about a present which I got from my father on my 16th birthday.
My father gifted me a Smartphone. It was branded by ‘SAMSUNG’. To be honest, I really needed smartphone during my matriculation for educational purpose. Additionally, I had need for smartphone to make my assignments. However, I couldn’t purchase due to less pocket money.
But, on that birthday, when I opened my father’s gift, I found Samsung Galaxy A20 mobile. It was really an eye-catching blue colour smartphone with latest features. I thanked my father and hugged him tightly for beautiful present. Apart from this, I clicked many pictures with new mobile phone on the same day with family and friends.
Also, I used to play videos games in my leisure time and contact with my classmates through various social media apps. All in all, it has made my life too easier and I felt over the moon when I got this precious gift from my father.
