Besides learning academic subjects at school or college, everyone gets acquainted with different skills at home such as culinary and baking, driving and many more. Here i would like to talk about a must-have skill for all individuals which is none other than rendering first-aid.
I vividly reminisce, my winters vacations from school were going on; thus, i went to my maternal house to spend holidays. However, i and my cousins were playing alongside the stairs while suddenly one of them tripped over the wire and got slipped from the 10th step.
He fell headlong and got hit with the wall and started bleeding a lot. My aunt hurriedly brought first-aid kit and placed a firm bandage on his wound and added direct pressure to stop bleeding. Meanwhile, someone called in the doctor to visit at home. Before the arrival of doctor, she patiently did all measures and frequently, bleeding was also stopped.
When doctor examined my cousin, he spoke highly of my aunt for giving first-aid because it prevented huge blood loss. Post giving all medications and treatment, everyone threw bouquets at her and i also asked her to tech me this skill. Then, she told me that everyone should know about the initial care given at the time of sudden illnesses and accidental injuries because this would not only lend a helping hand in self-help but also for the help of others.
Moreover, I got to know that a first-aid box must be kept ready beforehand which may include gloves, A spray preventing blood loss, bandages, medical tape, antiseptic wipes, ointment and many more. In the blink of an eye, I leant everything about this skill like when and how it should be given. With this, I felt a glow of satisfaction of being able to save others. All in all, in schools, it should be enlightened to every child. Since on humanitarian basis, we should assist each and every person. Even, during natural disasters, one should voluntarily give first-aid as it would turn aside life loss.

ANSWER – Well, parents are the first teacher of a child and offsprings learn ample things from their parents. As, children are clear headed, they learn what they observe in their daily routine. As, technology is proliferating day by day and there are ample platform available which provide erudition regarding ample things such as online apps like youtube, facebook and instagram. Even, one can learn from the biography of successful person with the help of google. Moreover, an eminent comrade or relative can become a good guider.
