Well, there is no doubt that making commitments is easy as pie, but keeping them is a hard as rock because it requires patience as well as continuous efforts. Even though I have made a number of promises to a number of people throughout my life, like my parents, teachers, friends, and many more. But here I would like to talk about a particular occasion when I made a promise to someone special. The promise was regarding my health. Actually, it happened two years back when I had summer vacation. Due to some reasons, I did not go anywhere, so l reasons I preferred to stay at home. During the vacations I preferred to eat junk food continuously for a month.
My parents stopped me. But, I did not listen to them. When my holidays end, I found myself so fat and obese. One day, I became ill and was suffering from a bad stomach ache. When my parents took me to the doctor he told me that I have a liver infection due to eating junk food. My parents scolded me a lot. At that time I made a promise to my parents to avoid junk food and to start exercise on the regular basis. When it comes to the difficulty level of keeping promise, I would say it was such a daunting task for me because of a number of reasons.

The prominent one is that it was an uphill task to do exercise regularly because I was quite busy in my hectic schedule since my exams were around the corner so it was really difficult for me to manage time. Moreover, due to being obese, i was not able to do physical movements which make it more challenging. When it comes to the reasons for making a promise, there are a number of reasons for it.
The first and foremost is that my parents were really worried for me and i could not see them in that situation. Moreover, I felt embarrassed in front of other people because they used to laugh at me. Furthermore, I was not able to manage my daily tasks, so it became a real necessity for me to become dependent. All in all, this was the situation when I made a promise to my parents.

Answer – I believe, writing down promises plays an imperative role in everyone’s life as in this day and age, everyone is quite busy in their hectic schedule so people often forget their promises but by writing the promised can act as an reminder for us to take the promises seriously and to fulfill the promise within the prescribed time.

Answer – To be honest, I try my best to keep my promises all the time as I believe it impacts the personality of a person and take them seriously. But there are some situations which are not in control like traffic jam, mishappenings and some serious factors when I fail to fulfill my promises.

Answer – Well, it depends from person to person as some people do not take the promises seriously as well as they forget their given promises while some people are un aware about the importance of keeping promises. Moreover, some people do not keep promises because they prefer to make promises as a distraction in order to avoid the complex situations.

Answer – Well, it entirely depends on the mindset of the children as some parents are really strict and make their children mindset enough strong to understand the importance of promises while some children take it as a joke due to their environment.

Answer – Yes, definitely. In my nation, parents make promises to their children in a number of situations. For example, during academic years, parents make promise to buy them their favorite things like chocolates, bicycles in order to encourage them to work hard during exams while some parents make promises their children in order to teach them the importance of making and keeping promises.
