Well, taking care of things is necessary in order to keep them safe for a long time. Although I have lost and found a number of things throughout my life, like books, pencils, money, and many more. But here I would like to talk about an occasion when I picked up an object that was lost by someone else. The object was a wallet.
Actually, it happened about a year ago. Being health conscious, I am habitual of a morning walk. Like other days, I went for a morning walk to a park that is located a stone’s throw away from my place. After my morning walk, when I sat to do some yoga, I saw something shining. When I picked it up, I came to know that it was an expensive branded wallet.
First, I asked the people around me, but no one was the owner there. In order to find the owner of this, I opened the wallet to check whether there was any address or contact number. But there was nothing more than some cash and a gold chain. Then, I went to the police station in my city to submit it to the lost and found department.
Luckily, the owner of the wallet was also present to lodge an FIR. I returned it to the person. He thanked me a lot and offered some cash, but I denied it. I really felt proud of myself as I assisted someone, which provided me with a sense of satisfaction. All in all, this was the time when I found something lost by another person.

Answer – I think the people who are careless and do not care about their belongings lose things more often as compared to the others. Moreover, the people who are multitasking and have a hectic scheduled at that time some things skip out of their mind, and at that time they also lose things.
Q2. What kind of things do people often lose?
Answer – There are a number of things that people often know. If I talk about the children, they mostly lose the stationery items as well as some toys. On the other hand, youngsters lose their keys as well as some important documents. On the other hand, old people lose the things they use in their everyday lives because at that age their memory becomes weak.
Q3. Why do some people find lost things easier than others?
Answer – Some people are good at recalling the past activities of them so they remember the time when they lost the thing and find the product at the exact location that’s why they get things easier than others. Moreover, some people do efforts they find the lost item without giving up that people also find the lost things earlier as compared to others.
Q4. What do you think are the reasons why some people pick up lost things and don’t give them back?
Answer – In my perception, there are several reasons behind them. Some people pick up lost things and do not want to give them to others because of their greed, and they think that if they find them, they are theirs. Moreover, some people are unable to earn enough to buy their own products, so they prefer to keep them to use them in a proper way.
Q5. Why do some people enjoy collecting antiques or second hand items?
Answer – Well, there are many reasons why some people enjoy collecting second-hand items. First and foremost, some people are fond of collecting things since their childhood, so they keep them for a long time. Apart from that, some people are attached to some second-hand items, which is why they prefer to keep them or wait to pass them on to their next generation.
