Sample Answer
During my childhood, listening to bedtime stories was an essential part of my daily routine. My grandmother, who always had an affectionate and warm way of storytelling, used to narrate several stories every night. Although I have forgotten most of them, one story that has stuck in my mind is the tale of the thirsty crow. This story revolves around a crow that was searching for water on a hot summer day.
After a long and tiring search, it finally found a pot with a little water at the bottom. The clever crow thought of a plan and started dropping pebbles into the pot. Slowly, the water level rose, and the crow was able to drink the water and quench its thirst.

I remember this story vividly because my grandmother narrated it to me repeatedly, ensuring I grasped the moral behind it-“”Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” Her animated expressions, the sound effects she made, and the valuable lesson made the story unforgettable. It taught me the importance of perseverance and creativity in solving problems.
Even now, whenever I face challenges, I often recall the thirsty crow’s determination. This memory also brings back a sense of nostalgia and reminds me of the precious moments I spent with my grandmother. I feel a mix of happiness and longing whenever I think about it because those stories were not just tales but life lessons wrapped in simple words.
