Introduction
Well, playing sports is imperative for an individual’s life in order to stay fit as a fiddle. Although I am familiar with a number of athletes like Sachin Tendulkar, Viral Kohli, MS Dhoni, and many more, But here I would like to talk about a particular person whom I admire.
He is none other than Neeraj chopra. o He is just 26 years old. He is a national champion in javelin throwing. By nationality, he is an Indian. He has represented India in several competitions since a young age. ol learned about him two years ago. o I vividly remember watching videos on Youtube.
Then his interview video grabbed my attention. When I started watching it, I learned about his journey, struggles, and achievements. He has won various gold medals. Recently, in 2021, he participated in the Tokyo Olympics, where he represented India and broke the national record. He is the first youngest Indian gold medalist in javelin throwing and has made the country proud. I really admire him because of several factors.
The prominent one is his dedication, as he has proved that everything can be achieved with effort and hard work by achieving such a name and fame at such an early age. Moreover, he inspires the youth to indulge in sports activities instead of wasting time on useless activities. Aside from that, he has a down-to-earth personality, as he talks with everyone politely. All in all, this is the great sportsman whom I admire the most.
