Introduction

Well, giving and receiving advice is common in my nation in order to do work efficiently. Although I have taken and given many pieces of advice during my school and college years, But here I would like to talk about a specific time when I gave a piece of advice to someone special.

It happened a couple of years ago when I gave advice to none other than John, who is not only my neighbour but also my best friend. The advice was related to a business. Actually, my friend was really depressed and invited me in a cafe which is a stone’s throw away from my place to discuss his financial condition. He told me that he is suffering from depression as he is unable to meet the demands of his family due to inflation.

Actually, by profession, he is a chef. Even though his income is enough for him according to his job, but he has the responsibilty of his family as he is only the earner in his family. So he was thinking about quitting the job and moving abroad. Then I gave him advice to try his own evening business of tiffin service before taking such a big step, as he is an expert at culinary skills and is free after 3 oclock. Moreover, nowadays, due to hectic schedules, people do not have enough time to prepare food so he can easily earn enough money.

I gave him advice because he is one of my best friends, and I could not see him in depression. He really liked the idea and was convinced to give it a try. After two weeks, he followed this advice and now he is really happy as he is earning a hefty amount of it from this business. I really felt over the moon after giving this advice because it could help him mentally as well as financially. All in all, this is the piece of advice that I offered to my close friend.
