Well, reading plays an important role in everyone’s life in order to build up vocabulary as well as to improve communication skills. Even though I know a number of people who love to read books, such as my friends, relatives, as well as some teachers. But here I would like to talk about a particular person who is fond of reading books. This person is none other than John, who is not only my bosom friend but also my neighbor. I know him since my childhood, as we were born in the same month as well as being classmates since childhood.
I came to know about his book-reading passion when I visited his home last month in order to play some funny games. At that time, I observed that he has maintained the library in his room because he loves to stay in a place surrounded by the books. If I talk about his liking for book reading, then I would say he is fond of reading every type of book, as he has divided his schedule into two parts.
During the weekdays, he loves to read his academic books like math, science, and social science in order to perform better in the class, while on the weekends he loves to read comedy books, fiction books, and non- fiction books in order to improve his vocabulary. When it comes to the question of why I think he likes to read a lot, then I would say there are a number of reasons behind this.
The prominent one i is that it is his favorite hobby. Apart from that, he loves to read books because he wants to become a literature teacher, so he is preparing for this goal right now. Moreover, it acts as a relaxation therapy as it helps to relieve the stress as well as helps in better concentration. All in all, this is the person who is a bibliophile.

Answer – In my country, topics like motivational stuff, fiction, and biographies are very popular. Many people enjoy reading about eminent personalities like Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam, Napoleon Hill, and the books such as “Think and grow rich”, “The power of subconscious mind” are widely read. Exam preparation books, like those for competitive exams, are also in high demand among learners.

Answer – In my belief, reading can be for both fun and work. Many individuals read novels and fiction just for entertainment, while others read academic or professional books for their career development and general knowledge. For instance, students read books related to their field of study, while professionals read industry-related articles, distinct strategies- based books to stay updated.
5. Do you think parents should help their children to develop the reading habit from an early age?
Answer – From my point of view, parents should encourage reading from an early age because it helps children to build vocabulary, improve comprehension, and stimulates their imagination and improve their cognitive as well as linguistic skills. For example, reading bedtime stories can foster a love for books that stays with them as they grow.

Answer – Many people enjoy reading because it allows them to imagine different worlds, gain knowledge, stay focused and improve their skills. Reading can be both relaxing and educational. For some other people, it is also a way to stay well-informed about current events or new ideas.
