This person is none other than Mr. John, who is not only my bosom friend but also my neighbour. By profession, he is a chef. By Passion, he is a social worker.
He is a graduate of hotel management. He is also known as the master chef of my society. If I talk about his cooking skills, he likes to cook every type of food, whether it is vegetarian, non-vegetarian. Aside from that, he is also expert at making italian, chinese and thai dishes. When it comes to the question of who he cooks for, I would say he cooks at various places for different people. As he runs a restaurant, he cooks for his customers to satisfy their hunger, as well as his restaurant is famous for his mouth-watering dishes.

Cooking is a very essential skill and according to me, everybody should know cooking because food is very necessary for survival. I also love cooking and even I always make food for my family. Here I would like to speak about my mother who loves to cook for my family. She loves to cook, and she never feels boredom while cooking. She has good culinary skills.
Before her marriage, she never cooked, and learned after her marriage, as in Indian culture only women have the responsibility to look. She cooks both traditional and Western food. In the evening time my mother makes snacks for everyone and we all enjoy with cup of tea.

Answer – As per my thinking, school should have a compulsory cooking subject because it is a practical life lesson that is required by everyone, so if school makes it elective, people will not opt because they will take it casual, but it should be compulsory to make them more independent as it opens a door to new occupation.
- Are there any differences between cooking today and in the past?
Answer– Yes, there is a big difference between cooking today and in the past. If I talk about the past, there were only a few dishes that were prepared by homemakers. But now, due to spread of the internet, people can easily find recipes and cooking tips online to make every type of dish at home.
