Well, setting up goals plays an important role in everyone’s life in order to achieve success. Although I have a number of goals that I wish to achieve in the upcoming time. But here, I would like to talk about a particular long-term goal that I would like to achieve. This goal is none other than learning the French language. I vividly remember i made up this goal when I used to study in the 10th grade. up this! At that time, there was a seminar at my alma mater that was conducted by foreigners who informed us about the importance of this skill as well as how it will be helpful in the future.

That day, I promised myself to learn this skill. In order to achieve this skill, I would take admission to a renowned institute called Language Solutions, which is located a stone’s throw away from my place. After learning the basics from this institute, I would try to converse with the people on the social platforms with the foreigners.

It is a one-year course, so I think after 2 years of continuous practice, I would learn this skill completely. If I talk about the reasons why I established this objective, there are so many. The prominent one is that this is the second official language of Canada, where I want to pursue my higher education, so this language will be very beneficial for me to communicate with the people over there.

Another reason is that by learning this dialect, I will be able to apply for a worldwide organization, which will allow me to obtain international work experience. Apart from that, learning this course will open a door to new occupation of french language teacher. All in all, this is a long-term objective that I hope to accomplish in the near future.

Question 1. Should parents set goals for children?

Answer – Yes, definitely, parents should set goals for their children because they are well aware of the interests and weaknesses of their children better than others, so they can set up goals according to their abilities. Moreover, they also have experience and they always want the best for their children. Moreover, at that age, children are not yet able to discover about their likings and dislikes, so they must help the children achieve success at an earlier age by establishing goals.

Question 2. When do young children start to set goals for themselves?

Answer – As per my perception, children start to set goals when they become mature enough to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. Moreover. they also start setting up goals when they pass their 10th grade because after that, they have to choose one stream according to their interests.

Question 3. What kinds of goals are not realistic?

Answer – There is no denying the Conviction that goals are achievable only when people make efforts. In the same sense, I think, the goals that are made under the influence of others and do not do efforts to achieve them are considered unrealistic. For example, if a person desires to be the institute’s top student but does not attend courses or follow the material, that aim is impossible.

Question 4. Why do people set goals?

Answer – It varies from person to person. As some people set goals because it gives them direction in their lives, and for some people, it acts as motivation to work harder. Apart from that, some people also set goals because they think that by setting them wisely, they can achieve success by completing them step by step.

Question 5. What would you feel if you couldn’t achieve your goals?

Answer – Naturally, at first I would feel down in the dumbs, but after that, I would work on the weaknesses and get to know about the reasons why I failed. After that, I will work on those weaknesses and would try it again till I am successful.
