Well, reading books is a form of entertainment and it improves concentration as well. I have read many books related to my studies. But today, I am going to talk about a book which I have read many times.

The name of the book is ‘playing it my way’. It is the autobiography of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. I read it first time two years ago, when my friend gave it to me as a birthday gift. This book is all about sachin’s life and his cricket career.

It tells us Tendulkar’s early days, his 24 years of international cricket. After reading this book, I came to know about sachin’s records in this sport. He holds the records of maximum runs, maximum centuries in test and one day international matches.

Moreover, I have read it numerous times because it is an exciting and motivational book. I like to read it again as it inspires me a lot. It shows that follow your dreams and achieve success in life. The exciting part of this book is that it actually brings out many of his personal moments, his feelings at different occasions. This book is really close to my heart. In fact, I also suggested it to my friends.

Introduction

Well i am really into reading. I have read countless books written by great writers and masterminds. One of them is “My Experience with Truth” This book appealed to me greatly and I have read it numerous times.

It is written by M.K Gandhi in Gujarati language and originally published in 2 volumes, the first in 1927 and second in 1929. Later it was translated into English and other Indian languages. I read it first time a couple of years ago when my grandfather gave it to me as a present on my birthday. It’s one of the spiritual as well as inspirational books of the 20th century. This book throws a flood of lights on Gandhi’s personality and thoughts. It centers around 2 things- Gandhi’s patriotism and his struggle for getting freedom.

We get to know how he fought against injustice, inequality with the weapons of truth and nonviolence. It explains that how he awakened the sleeping Indians with moral force and aroused a love for liberty in them. To him, God was truth and Truth was God. Explaining further, There are several reasons why I found it a real page-turner. It left a profound influence upon my mind. It not only increased my historical knowledge but also taught me the ways to fight with the problems of my life. Additionally I learnt how important is to become truthful always and non-violent person.

Conclusion

Besides this, it is written in a simple but effective way. it mesmerized and inspired me a lot. whenever I have some free time from my hectic schedule I never forget to reread it in order to uplift myself.

Well, to be honest, I’m an avid reader, and I love reading books of different genres, like historical, autobiographies, self-help, fiction novels, etc.

Here, I’m going to take this opportunity to talk about one particular book that I’m always eager to read, which is Think and Grow Rich. This awesome book is written by ‘Napoleon Hill’, who is the most famous American self-help author. It’s also one of the ‘New York Times’ bestseller books because more than 15 million copies of this book have been sold worldwide.

I embarked on reading this amazing book for the very first time, when my friend John’ gifted it to me on my birthday. .I must say, it is the best gift I have ever received in my life. If I talk about this book, it’s basically a self-help book, as it mainly teaches business and management skills. There are 15 chapters in this book, and each one is based on one specific aspect of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Although I have read it many times, I still love reading it again and again in my leisure time, as every time I come across something new.

At the same time, it has had a great impact on my personality because it has widened my horizon about business and management. Answer-Honestly speaking, I prefer watching movies rather than reading books. It is hard to get enough free time to read books, whereas we can know the story within few hours by watching movies.

Answer-In my opinion, it is not necessary to read a book before watching a movie. For example, I haven’t read a 2 states book which is written by Chetan Bhagat, but I still enjoyed the movie version of this book.
