All people consider their cities and villages beautiful and interesting. Similarly, I would like to talk about my own city, Barnala. It is one of the districts of Punjab state. It is a small city in terms of population and area. People mostly speak here Punjabi to communicate with each other.

If I talk about their behavior, they are really polite, helpful and hospitable. It is famous for its Phulkari Suits and dupattas, the traditional attires of women, which are exported largely from this region. Good transport facilities, hospitals, colleges, stadiums and malls are available here. There is an outlet in the suburbs of it, which has recently been introduced. It is the main attraction of this city. Different branded show rooms, MCD, KFC, Tim Hortons and gaming parlor, everything I would say you will get in this outlet.

Moreover, there are two malls here where people go with their kith and kins(friends and relatives). Interestingly, 3 and 4 star hotels are also located here for the outsiders, and i remember that Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh stayed in A9 hotel when their film’s shooting was going on in the nearby village.

Apart from this, it has three main markets namely Sadar, Handiya and Farwahi bazar which are often crowded on weekends. Barnala is also popular for its street foods, such as Poori bhaji, Pav Bhaji, Dahi bhallas and many more. This city is beautiful because along with modern buildings some historical buildings too can be seen here.
