Well, I am a shopaholic, so I enjoy purchasing a number of items from different locations. Although there are a number of markets available in my nation, like street markets, mega malls, and many more,. But here, I would like to talk about a street market that is located in my city Chandigarh. The name of the market is Janta Market.
If I talk about its location, it is located in the heart of my city. I came to know about this market three years ago when I went there with my mother to buy some groceries as well as a study table for me as my old one was broken. When it comes to what i can buy from there, this market sells the products that are mandatory in order to live a comfortable life.
Moreover, this market is divided into three sections. In the first section, it covers all the basic products that are required regularly, like fruits, vegetables, spices, and many more. On the other hand, the second section deals with the products that are required on a monthly basis, like clothes, watches, bedsheets, and many more. If I talk about the third section, it sells the precious metals like gold, jewelry, silver, and many more.
I really felt amazing after visiting this place, as it fulfils the demand of everyone by providing all products in one place. Moreover, the prices are reasonable and provide individual attention to every customer. All in all, this is the street market in my hometown where i love to do shopping.

Answer – In my nation, there are mainly three types of markets available: first, the small shops in the neighborhoods where basic products are available, second, the street market, where all the products are available but in different shops. The last one is mega malls, or high- street markets, where all I the shops are located under one roof along with a number of services.
Q2. Do you think small markets will disappear in the future?
Answer – No, I don’t think so, as small markets have their own importance in my nation, as most of the population is below the poverty line and belongs to middle-class families, for whom the small markets are the places from which they can buy their dreams, so small markets will not disappear as per my perception.
Q3. Have people’s shopping habits changed in recent years?
Answer – Yes, definitely, a big change can be seen in the shopping habits of people as compared to the past. If I talk about the past, people used to buy only the things they needed, but now, due to advertisements as well as advancements in technology, people are more attracted to shop more. Moreover, these days there are more online stores, so people love to buy more products, unnecessary accessories, just due to instant offers.
Q4. What are the differences between shopping in street markets and big shopping malls?
Answer – There are a number of differences between shopping in street market and big shopping malls. If I talk about street markets, people have to visit different stores to buy different products and their price is reasonable and can bargain. On the other hand, in the case of big shopping malls, one can buy every type of product under one roof but have a fixed price. Moreover, street market is affordable but big malls can be afforded only by the rich ones.
Q5. Do you think the goods sold at discount stores do not have good values or qualities?
Answer– As per my perception, the goods sold at discount prices do not need to have bad values or low quality. I think the company sells these products at discounted prices because they want to stock, and some people more customers. do it because they want to clear up their attract more and more customers.
Q6. Why do some people like to buy expensive goods?
Answer – There are mainly two reasons behind buying expensive words. The primary reason is the quality of the product because expensive goods are mostly branded and do not spoil easily, for example, an iPhone. The other reason is that these days people want to show their status in front of others, which is why they love to wear expensive goods.
Q7. Do you like shopping online or going out for shopping?
Answer– Actually, I prefer both, depending on the situation. If there is a sale or a discounted price at that time, I prefer to shop online, or if I want to buy something expensive or good quality product, I prefer to go to the store.
Q8. What is the difference between shopping with friends and shopping alone?
Answer – I think there is a great difference between shopping with friends and shopping alone. If I talk about shopping with friends, then it is more fun as we can discuss the things with each other, take each other’s advice, and get the best out of it. I talk about shopping alone, so it is really hard as it becomes confusing to choose one.

Answer – There are a number of disadvantages to shopping at a big mall. The first and foremost is that there is no one to guide us about any product, we do not receive any individual attention; we have to just choose, try, and pay. Furthermore, these big stores have a fixed price, so we cannot bargain, w which is possible in the case of small shops.

Answer – People like to buy branded products because they believe in quality, and they also want to show their status in front of others. Apart from that, branded products provide after-sale service, which is really helpful to maintain the product very well.
Q11. In your opinion, are big discounts real or just an advertisement?
Answer – In my opinion, big discount accounts are real if they are in the case of branded products because they do not make any fake promises on any advertisement, but sometimes the products are defective or on any advertisement, but sometimes the products are detective or outdated. That’s why they prefer to give discounts.
